Indigo Water Group will be hosting a series of water training seminars in 2013. Thank you to the State of Colorado Water Quality Control Division. The Division provided funding to make these training opportunities possible through the Public Water Systems Training Grants Program.
“The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is proud to support this training through the use of federal grant funds.”
We've put together two, complimentary sets of training: a webinar series and hands-on classroom training. Small water system operators are highly encouraged to attend both types of training and to view the on-line math training modules developed as part of this grant.
Webinars and On-Site Trainings are APPROVED for TU's in Colorado
On-Site Training Gives 6.5 Hours of TU's
Workshops are $20 per person to cover costs of morning coffee and lunch.
These one-day workshops are designed to be hands-on. Attendees will practice collecting samples for lead and copper, coliforms, residual chlorine, and volatile organic compounds. Each attendee will be able to analyze samples for residual chlorine using a hand-held colorimeter. We'll have a mock chlorine cylinder on hand for demonstrating and practicing proper change-out procedures.

Each hands-on workshop can support up to 20 attendees. If a workshop fills up, operators from small systems will be given preference.
